This book began as a way of making sense of illness, uncertainty, and the slow work of becoming steady again.

Living with Ataxia changed how I experience my body and the world. Running became less about performance and more about presence. Writing became a way to hold that experience.

This is not a productivity book.


It is a collection of reflections, images, and small practices designed to be returned to slowly.

From the beginning this book was imagined as a physical object.

Something you could pick up, open anywhere, feel the paper, leave marks, and return to. The layouts, photography, and pacing were designed for a page, not a screen.
